Datenschutz · Privacy policy

This policy covers the class pages at class.venturearchitect.studio: registration for the free live class "Build Your AI Team" and its weekly encores (the recording of the live class, shown at a fixed time), the reminder emails, the optional purchase of the Starter Fleet Kit, and the optional waitlist for the 4-week program. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

2 · Registration for the class

When you register, we store your first name, your email address, the time of registration, a random registration number, your country (derived from your connection, not your exact location) and which ad or link brought you here. We use this to give you your seat, send your personal Zoom link and two reminders (the day before and one hour before), and to see which ads work. Legal basis: your request to take part (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in measuring our own advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We keep registration data until six months after the class, then delete it, unless you bought the kit (see 5) or asked us to stay in touch.

2a · Watching an encore

When you open the encore page, we note that you joined and, every five minutes while the video plays, that you are still watching. We use this to send you the right email after the session (watched or missed) and to count how many people watched. Legal basis: your request to take part (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in knowing whether the encore works (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The video is delivered by Cloudflare Stream (see 3).

2b · Waitlist for the 4-week program, only with your consent

If you tick "Keep me posted about the 4-week program" on the form, or click "Yes, keep me posted" in one of our emails, we first ask you to confirm on a page of this site (double opt-in). Only after that click do we send you news about the program. To prove your consent we store the time of your request and of your confirmation, where it came from (form or which email), the exact wording you agreed to, and a one-way hash of your IP address (the address itself is not stored). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 7 UWG). You can withdraw it at any time with the link in every waitlist email or by writing to us; we then keep only the record that you withdrew, so we never write to you about the program again.

3 · Services that process your data for us

Where data goes to the USA, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, otherwise on Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

4 · Meta pixel, only with your consent

With your OK in the banner, these pages load the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Ireland). It tells Meta that someone who saw our ad visited the page, registered, or bought the kit, so we can see which ads work and show them to similar people. Meta may combine this with data from your Meta account and may process it in the USA. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG). Without consent the pixel is not loaded and the page works the same.

You can withdraw your consent at any time: withdraw my consent on this device.

5 · Buying the kit

If you buy the Starter Fleet Kit, Stripe passes us your name, email, the amount and the payment status, linked to your registration number. We use this to deliver the kit by email and for our accounting. Legal basis: the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal retention duties (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Accounting records are kept as long as the law requires (in Switzerland 10 years).

6 · Storage on your device

We set one technical cookie (ft1_rid, 30 days) so the checkout and the join link recognise your registration, and we keep your consent choice, your registration number and the start time of the offer on this page in your browser's local storage. None of these track you on other websites. Fonts are served from our own server.

7 · Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to joanna@venturearchitect.studio. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your EU country or the Swiss FDPIC.
